Opening sequence of ‘Bring It On’:

The starting scene of bring it on is introduced with very upbeat non-diegetic music, this helps to hook the audience in (teenagers), as this is the type of music that the target audience is associated with. The scene is mostly filled with female cheerleaders and a few male cheerleaders. The girls are all dressed in short cropped tops and miniskirts; this is typical as most people see girls like this as being stereotypical. The editing is shown by the cuts made which are very quick relating to the teenagers in the film again as they are very energetic. Most of the camerawork is long shots or over-head shots to show what is going on in the scene.
